The most common ESL interview questions for Korea are: Why do you want to teach in Korea? What is your teaching philosophy? How do you handle discipline? Describe a lesson plan. How do you manage mixed-level classes? Research your school, prepare specific examples, and practice a 5-minute demo lesson.
Most interviews last 20-40 minutes. EPIK interviews tend to be more structured (30-45 minutes with a demo lesson component). Hagwon interviews are often more conversational (15-30 minutes). International school interviews may include multiple rounds over several weeks.
