Apply for a police certificate from An Garda Siochana (Irish Police). For personal overseas use, apply directly through your local Garda station or the Garda National Vetting Bureau.
Submit your police certificate to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for apostille. Ireland joined the Hague Apostille Convention and DFA handles all apostilles.
Submit your degree certificate to DFA for apostille. You can submit this together with your police certificate to save time.
Gather passport photos, TEFL certificate, transcripts, and CV. Ensure your Irish passport is valid for at least 6 months.
Your Korean employer files for a VIN through Korean Immigration.
Visit the Korean Embassy in Dublin to submit your E-2 visa application with the VIN and all original documents.
