Apply for a Ministry of Justice criminal conviction history report or a NZ Police vetting check. For international use, you need the Ministry of Justice report.
Submit your criminal record check to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) for apostille authentication.
Submit your degree certificate to MFAT for apostille. You may need a notarized copy certified by a NZ lawyer or Justice of the Peace.
Gather passport photos, TEFL certificate, transcripts, and resume. Ensure your NZ passport has sufficient validity.
Your Korean employer applies for a VIN through Korean Immigration using your documents.
Visit the Korean Embassy in Wellington to submit your E-2 visa application with the VIN and all original documents.
